We recommend starting the alterations process 90 days prior to your wedding date. Many seamstresses have a minimum turnaround time of 60 days with additional time for tweaks and adjustments. Most offer rush options, if needed. Any seamstress listed below is in no way connected to Sakred Bridal, nor do we receive any compensation from a referral. We are not liable for your gown once it leaves our store.

We would encourage you to reach out for more information on their individual policies and pricing. Remember, you may have as many as 3-4 fittings, if necessary, so someone in your geographical area is helpful. Your time becomes more and more limited as the wedding day approaches. 

You may expect alterations to fall between $350 for a simple bustle and hem to well over $1000 for intricate hand beading or customizations. All work by appointment-only and will require shoes and undergarments present for your fittings.

Finally, it's important to remember that communication is key during this process. Feel free to elaborate on what you envision and changes you want to make - it's their role to provide the perfect fit. Speak up if you have a thought, question, or concern you want addressed. And always try on your gown at the Final Fitting - no matter what!
